Steps to apply for your UTAP claim

Step 1: On the NTUC Union site, click on Search Courses under the Skills Upgrade Available tab. Search and select Empire Code Education Centre, you will see our courses supported under UTAP.


Step 2: Register with us via email on sg@empirecode.co or call/WhatsApp +65 8145 5004 with the applicable course chosen and your full name as per NRIC. You can only claim your UTAP funding post completion of the course.

Step 3: To claim your funding post course completion, login to your U Portal account and apply for your claim within 6 months from your course end date. Late applications will be rejected.


To support your UTAP claim, please keep soft copies of your course certificate, invoice and receipt of payment. This may have to be sent to UTAP via e-mail.

Before applying for UTAP, please ensure that your training commences within the supported period. UTAP applications for courses commencing post the expiry date will be rejected.

Only Ordinary Branch (OB), General Branch (GB) and OB/UCLUB members who are paying SG$117/year are eligible.
