1. What is the Minecraft Championship 2025?
It’s a coding competition for kids in Singapore aged 7-14, hosted by Empire Code with MOE-registered
trainers. The theme for 2025 is ‘Sushi Restaurant of the Future,’ in partnership with Sakae Sushi.
2. Why should my child join a Minecraft coding competition in Singapore?
This competition combines fun and education. Kids build DSA portfolio projects, develop teamwork and
creativity, and learn practical STEM and coding skills.
3. When and where will the Minecraft Championship 2025 be held?
Training and workshops are aligned with Singapore MOE school holidays: September school holidays, Post-PSLE/PSLE
Marking Days, Children’s Day and Year-end school holidays. Venues include Novena, River Valley, Tai Seng,
Boon Lay and East Coast. The final submission deadline is 30 November 2025.
4. How much does Minecraft Championship training cost in Singapore?
The Minecraft Championship costs $150 per child for a 1-day full-day training workshop and $300 per child
for a 2-day full-day training workshop in Singapore. Lunch is included. Bundle packages are available
for families who want ongoing training.
5. Does my child need coding experience?
No, coding experience is not required. Beginners are welcome, and our MOEregistered trainers guide kids
step-by-step using Minecraft Education Edition.
6. Is this competition recognised for DSA?
Yes. Projects are designed to support Direct School Admission (DSA) applications in tech-related DSA
tracks.
