2. Where are the camps held?

The Easter camp is held exclusively at Empire Code’s River Valley campus: 8 Mohamed Sultan Road, Singapore 239964, near UE Square and Robertson Quay, approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Fort Canning MRT..

3. What age groups are the camps suitable for?

The camp is designed for children aged 4 to 9. Activities and groupings are adjusted by age: children aged 4–6 work with ScratchJr and Cubetto, while children aged 7–9 progress to Tynker, KUBO and LEGO SPIKE. All groups are beginner-friendly.

4. What is the teacher-to-child ratio?

All Easter camp sessions have a maximum of 8 children per MOE-registered teacher. This is one of the smallest class sizes of any holiday camp in Singapore and ensures every child receives hands-on guidance throughout the day.

5. What should my child wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes they can move and create in. We provide all activity materials including robotics kits, craft supplies, and engineering components. 6. My child has no prior coding or robotics experience. Can they still join?

No prior experience is required or expected. All activities are designed for complete beginners. Empire Code’s Easter camp is specifically structured to introduce young children to technology for the first time, through guided play and project-based learning.

7. What is included in the camp fee?

The fee includes 20 hours of camp lessons. Device rental (iPad/laptop) is available at an additional cost if your child does not bring their own.

8. How much do the camps cost?

9. What will my child learn in the school holidays camp?

Children will explore coding, engineering, robotics, design, and creative Easter activities through hands-on projects each day.

They will learn to create Easter stories and games using ScratchJr and Tynker, build and test engineering structures such as Strawbees bridges and egg-drop designs, and experience robotics adventures with Cubetto, KUBO, and LEGO SPIKE.

Children will also enjoy creative activities such as designing a 3D rabbit keychain, building a LEGO Easter rabbit, drawing their own Easter rabbit, and decorating chocolate Easter eggs.

Through these fun challenges, children develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and confidence, while being introduced to the exciting world of coding, robotics, and engineering in a playful Easter-themed environment.

Every camp is hands-on and beginner-friendly, with progression available for returning students who want to explore advanced projects.

11. Is this the right Easter Camp for my child?

This camp is designed for children aged 4 to 9 who are spending the March or Easter school holidays in Singapore. It is ideal for parents whose children are complete beginners to coding, robotics, or STEM activities, and who are looking for supervised full-day childcare during the school holiday period. 12. Will my child receive a certificate after completing the camp?

Yes. Every child who completes the 4-day camp receives a Certificate of Completion from Empire Code. This can be used in school portfolios and is accepted as supporting material for DSA (Direct School Admission) applications at primary school level.
