FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Competition 2026 Registration
If your child is an enthusiastic future architect, engineer or inventor, spark their interest through the 2026 LEGO robotics competition. This is a national robotics competition for lower and upper primary school children, useful for their Direct School Admissions (DSA) Portfolio.

Competition Theme: UNEARTHEDDate of Competition: TBC

Birth Year of Child: 6-9 yrs old
(Children born between 2017 to 2020 are eligible)
Registration Deadline: 30 September 2025 (Tuesday)
Early Bird Registration Fee: $70 (includes Empire Code T-Shirt)
Training: 40 hours of training starting last week of October

Competition Theme: UNEARTHEDDate of Presentation & Robot Games: TBC
Location: TBC
Birth Year of Child: 10-12 yrs old
(Children born between 2014 to 2016 are eligible)
Registration Deadline: 30 September 2025 (Tuesday)
Early Bird Registration Fee: $145 (includes Empire Code T-Shirt)
Training: 40 hours of training starting last week of October

About the Competition
1. What is the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) 2026 competition in Singapore?
FLL 2026 is a national LEGO robotics competition for children aged 6-12 in Singapore. Kids build and program LEGO robots to complete themed missions – the 2026 season theme is “UNEARTHED.” It’s a fun way to explore STEM and can strengthen your child’s DSA portfolio.

2. Who can participate in FLL 2026 and what are the age categories in Singapore?
The competition is open to Singapore primary school children aged 6-12.
·FLL Explore is for ages 6-9 (lower primary)
·FLL Challenge is for ages 10-12 (upper primary).
Both divisions are designed so every child can participate at the right level.

4. Can my child try a free FLL assessment trial before registering?
Yes! If you’re not sure whether your child is ready for the FLL competition, Empire Code offers a free FLL competition assessment trial. Parents can register for this free assessment through Empire Code’s sign-up form below. This session helps parents and children understand what the competition involves and assess your child’s readiness. After the trial, you’ll know if FLL is a good fit before registering.
5. Do children compete individually or in teams at FLL?
FLL is team-based. Each team has 2-5 students and a coach. If you register your child individually, Empire Code will place them into a suitable team.
Competition Details
1. When and where will FLL 2026 be held in Singapore?
The competition is expected in March-April 2026 at a venue in Singapore (dates and location to be confirmed by Duck Learning, the national organiser).
2. How do I register my child for FLL 2026 in Singapore?
Parents can register through Empire Code, which forms and trains teams for the competition in Singapore. Early bird registration for FLL 2026 closes 30 September 2025.
3. How much does it cost to join FLL 2026 in Singapore with Empire Code?
Through Empire Code, the early bird registration fees are:
·FLL Explore (ages 6-9): S$70
·FLL Challenge (ages 10-12): S$145
This covers the official competition entry fee to Duck Learning plus Empire Code’s team T-shirt,
admin, and competition support. Training programmes are charged separately.
